About Brainstorm

Our company was formed in 1995 under the name of Dowling Magnets Europe Limited and for several years was the distributor solely for Dowling Magnets branded products.

Gradually over the years we have added other brands and individual products to the range, including items from World Alive, Spider Catcher, GeoCentral, Fascinations and Uncle Milton. We have also created in-house Brainstorm brands such as Explore & Learn, Fact Finders and Gadgets & Gifts.

In 2002 we purchased The Original Glowstars Company Limited. Well known in the nineties for introducing paper glowstars, the brand was much-loved but in need of an overhaul. In 2007 the brand was brought up to date. It still has the old favourites, now sitting alongside new and exciting 3D Glow, Glow Morph and items from Disney and Marvel.

In 2004 we changed our name to Brainstorm Limited to better reflect the wide range of innovative toys, gadgets and gifts that we are now well-known for providing to the trade.

Brainstorm is owned by three directors who work full time for the business. We never forget that our customers are the key to our success and remain deeply committed to supplying an excellent customer service. This is backed up by a hard-working, conscientious and dedicated team of sales and warehouse people, of whom we are rightly proud.
